In David's name.
Mental Wellness
It has been here the entire time. This is where it stands.
David Fitzgerald Walker, Jr. lived his entire life with bipolar schizophrenia. His mother was serving as a Sheriff Deputy and a law enforcement officer when she lost him. She is a Mental Wellness advocate because of him, and this room carries that work.
He is named in the memorial room, with Andrew, his step-father.
Please read. This room is advocacy and lived experience. It is not therapy, counselling, diagnosis or medical care, and nobody here treats anyone.
A program under this umbrella
Angel In The Dark
A mental wellness project she created for law enforcement officers, to raise awareness about officers serving with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
