The experience
We celebrated "Labor Day" on Monday... my son's transitioning anniversary felt totally different this year. Working on the website and awaiting his memorial to post felt like a form of labor for me. The anxiety and the anticipation that was attached to that 'day' was an experience that I will never forget. I gave birth to 3 children and I had to endure the labor portion of giving birth to produce a child. After each of them were born, I felt a huge sigh of relief that they were born physically healthy. I had a feeling that related to that experience on Monday. On Tuesday, I found myself at the beach to sit in a place of gratitude for the peace, support, and love that I received after releasing David's memorial and the website to friends and family. While I was there, I had an experience and this is the best way that I can explain it...
